CT SCAN

10 am CT scan,, More needles....!!!! What a fantastic piece of equipment, Bit like star wars, pumping chemicals thru your body as they scan you, awesome.
Went home afterwards and Dr Palmer phones later in the afternoon.
Unfortunately he confirms his worst fears, Derek the scan confirms that you have an abnormal mass in your abdomen,,, Its actually on your Pancreas and Liver, and I'm sorry but I have to advise you that it could be a TUMOUR and Malignant...................My life just fell apart...........Jayne was looking at me waiting,,, shit how do I tell her, But she knew, just looking at me she new, She is one amazing woman my Jayne, how I would have managed thru this without her I don't know, where she gets her courage from I don't know, I just wish I had some of that at that moment, Again we hugged and cried,,, I went into the living room and just lay down, trying to comprehend what/where we went from there, Dr Palmer said he was arranging a Biopsy to confirm and see what/if there was anything else that could be done. Unknown to me Jayne had phoned my daughter Lauren to tell her how ill I was, I just wanted to protect them from this illness and the grief that was happening...........Guess what within 20 mins Lauren was at the house and the three of us just hugged and cried...........................
