How true were those immortal words from the great Frank Sinatra.. There was I riding high in April shot down in May. April looking forward to our holiday in Italy, then shot down in May with the news that I had developed Pancreatic Cancer spread to the Liver. Diagnosis was confirmed yesterday, even though I knew myself, now its down to the genius of the consultants,doctors etc and my loving family, friends collegues etc, Am I bitter HELL NO.... Thats Life, life's too short to be bitter, now the fight starts and the party,,, Typing these words helps me come to terms with this, especially at 4 in the morning when I could have been getting up for work, have a good shift guys,,,lol.. Prognosis,,,,,, who knows,,, but Mr CANCER, look out,,, Del boy is about to get tough and beat the shit out of you, and start the biggest comeback just like old Frank did,,,, watch this space,,, Take care all, Derek
